Mr. Maqsood A. Butt is a senior Chartered Accountant. Since qualifying from EY Ford Rhodes in 1971 he had been holding top positions in financial management, administration and corporate affairs of large companies including as Chairman of Aruj Industries Ltd since 1991, which is a Public Limited Company listed on Pakistan Stock Exchange in 1996.


Mr. Maqsood A. Butt is currently researching his upcoming book, titled "Pakistan in 2050®”, in which he plans to critically but objectively analyses the trajectory of our nation under the various governments of the past 75 years Mr. Butt plans to highlight the different challenges Pakistan faces as regards to Population, Water, Economy, Natural Resources, Agrarian Management, Global Integration, Climate, Technology, Cultural and Social Integration with the World etc. Not all gloom and doom; he plans to show the silver lining of all the above topics specifically keeping in view the trillion of dollars natural resources bestowed on us by God Almighty which just needs formulation of pragmatic policies and their execution in letter and spirit.
